Copper is vital for cancer’s existence.
Cancer cells have high levels of copper.
Tumors need a kind of scaffolding made of collagen to grow in the body. Copper is needed to build this scaffolding.
The most important aspect of copper in relation to cancer is that cancer requires copper to grow blood vessels(angiogenesis) to spread and grow.
The collagen scaffolding is important structural component of blood vessels.
All of these require copper.
This drug is a potent copper chelator.
It’s used for Wilson’s Disease which is an accumulation of copper in the body.
Copper is also vital for our healthy cells.
A breast cancer trial following 5 years in using this drug led by Dr Eleni Nackos, out of the 75 patients, 62 patients had no detectable cancer. 12 patients out of 15 TNBC patients were also NED(No evidence of disease) and remind you TNBC is a very aggressive type of breast cancer.
Why isn’t this drug not being used is what makes us furious.
At one time the FDA banned its use and sales.
Thankfully patients banded together and appealed the ban and the FDA reversed its decision.
We whole heartedly believe this drug can make cancer like a lifetime illness treated with this medication to keep it at bay where the patient is healthy and no sign of cancer. Will the cancer come back if the drug is stopped? Probably. But if you’re doing other treatments on of this then it might not come back.
But the point we’re making is, without angiogenesis, cancer can’t grow and spread and it will eventually dissipate.
Since copper is also essential for life, the protocol is to lower copper low enough that cancer can’t use it and not too low to cause health issues.
The health issues with very low copper levels are Anemia, low RBC, low WBC and Neutropenia where a blood transfusion might be required. This is why this therapy should be done under the provision of a qualified Doctor. We will list the Doctors that provide this drug and do the regular tests.
Ceruloplasmin (Cp) is a blood test to check the copper levels.
Normal levels of Cp is 20 – 35 mg/dL
The goal is to lower it to and keep it at 11 – 16 so that cancer can’t use it and it won’t cause health problems.
45 mg, three to four times a day for a month
If after a month the Cp is in the target range, then a maintenance dose of 100 mg daily in divided doses.
If the Cp levels are lower than the target range then doses were reduced in 20 mg increments to get to target levels and prevent toxicity.
If Cp levels are higher than target range then dose is decreased in 20 mg increments to maintain Cp target.
Take on an empty stomach so to not interfere with copper absorption.
To help with the absorption an anti-acid like Tums can help.

There are other copper chelators like zinc, molybdenum and Alpha Lipoid Acid but Tetrathiomolybdate is a potent copper chelator.
Will these other supplements work, it might but the crucial part of this treatment is keeping Cp levels at the 11 – 16 target range and avoiding the toxicity that is lower then this target range.

Remember that Angiogenesis means formation of new blood vessels and this drug only works to prevent the formation of new blood vessels.
However not all cancers rely on new blood vessels to grow and spread.
Some cancers can use existing old blood vessels to grow and spread.
